Responsible Party
Fábrica Nacional de Lija, S.A. de C.V. (“FANDELI”), located at Avenida Presidente Juárez No. 225, Colonia San Jerónimo Tepetlacalco, Tlalnepantla, Estado de México, is responsible for collecting, using, and protecting personal data in compliance with Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, its regulations, and related official guidelines.
Personal Data Collected
FANDELI collects a variety of personal data, including: name or business name, proof of address, age, official ID, birth certificate, general information, email, tax IDs (RFC, CURP), corporate documents (e.g. bylaws, modifications, powers of attorney), contact telephone, employment and personal references, financial and bank details (e.g. bank account, statements, credit bureau information), among others. These data may be collected via forms or electronically.
Use and Confidential Treatment
Personal and/or sensitive data obtained from employees, suppliers, or clients (the DATA SUBJECTS), with their full consent, will be handled confidentially in compliance with labor, fiscal, administrative, social security, civil, and commercial regulations, used solely for necessary legal or regulatory compliance.
Commercial Uses of Client Data
Client data may be used for commercial purposes, such as: promoting products, sending surveys, market research, resolving purchase or delivery issues, or sharing promotional and advertising content about FANDELI’s offerings.
Data Protection Measures
FANDELI has implemented administrative, technical, and physical security measures—including firewalls—and confidentiality agreements with collaborators, service providers, suppliers, clients, and visitors to protect the data. Any third parties with access to personal data must adhere to these obligations.
Cookies
FANDELI may use passive tools such as cookies and web beacons to track general site usage. These do not collect personal data beyond what the user voluntarily provides. Browsers can be configured to reject cookies.
ARCO Rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Opposition)
DATA SUBJECTS can exercise their ARCO rights by submitting a request to protecciondedatos@fandeli.com.mx, including:
- Full name and address,
- Email or physical address and phone for communication,
- Official ID or proof of representation,
- Clear description of the data to modify or restrict,
- Date when the data was first shared,
- Documentation supporting the request.
FANDELI’s designated legal department handles these requests. Upon receipt of a complete request, they will respond within 20 business days, extendable once by an equal period if necessary. Completion of requests will occur within 15 business days after notification.
Data Deletion
Approved cancellation requests will result in a period of data blocking followed by deletion, with notification to the data subject. FANDELI may retain data as required by law.
Repeated Requests
Repeated ARCO requests within a 12-month period may incur additional costs as permitted by law.
Revocation of Consent
Data subjects can revoke consent by emailing protecciondedatos@fandeli.com.mx, as per legal procedures.
Changes to Privacy Notice
FANDELI reserves the right to modify this Privacy Notice at any time due to legislative, judicial, internal, or commercial changes. Updates will be announced via brochures, circulars, email, or other means. The updated version will always be available on Fandeli’s website.
